MISSION

FREE GEEK MICHIANA is a volunteer organization that recycles used technology to provide computers, education and access to the internet to those in need in exchange for community service.

FREE GEEK MICHIANA is based in South Bend, Indiana. We currently serve St. Joseph County and plan to serve the southern Michigan and northern Indiana region.

FREE GEEK MICHIANA is affiliated with FREE GEEK in Portland, Oregon, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization pioneering the mission since 2000.

OUR CENTERS

WITH YOUR HELP

You can recycle your old computer equipment. We accept any computers, in any condition, there is a $15 fee for all monitors.

You can earn a GNU/Linux OS computer in exchange for a few hours of service. You can help us to repair and recycle computers; we will teach you any skills required.

Or, you can take a FreeBox class and get a computer.

Non-profit organizations can get help with computers, websites, training and technical support through our partnership program.
