FREEWIRE PROGRAM

Networks for Neighborhoods

One of FREE GEEK MICHIANA's goals is to develop and maintain infrastructure for neighborhood wireless networks.

Our hope is the poorest family in Michiana can have Internet access in their home.

FreeLabs = FreeWire

The FreeWire networks will be centered around our neighborhood FreeLabs.

Each FREE GEEK MICHIANA FreeLab is a potential Internet access point for the immediate neighborhood.

Neighborhood FreeLabs can connect with each other like an invisible electronic spider web creating a wireless community network.

How You Can Help

FREE GEEK Michiana needs computer systems to refurbish and distribute.

Please drop off your donated equipment at the:

Remember there is a $15 recycling fee for all monitors, no exceptions.

FREE GEEK Michiana accepts whatever computer equipment you bring us. However, if your computer equipment is older than a Pentium or Mac PowerPC, or, if it is broken, we appreciate a cash donation to cover processing.

Truthfully we always appreciate a cash donation!
