FREEBOX PROGRAM

Earn a FreeBox

Christina Rodriguez passes the Level One test and picks up
   her FreeBox.

You can earn a FreeBox by volunteering with us for 16 hours.

Call Tom Brown, 289-2089, at The Computer Tutor, or Capt. Jody Montgomery, 233-9471, at the Salvation Army Corps in South Bend to sign up to volunteer.

Receive a GNU/Linux computer as a token of our gratitude for a few hours of community service donated to FREE GEEK MICHIANA.

FREE GEEK MICHIANA volunteers refurbish donated computers and distribute them to the needy in Michiana.

Help us to repair and recycle computers and we will teach you any skills required. Plus you get a FreeBox of your own in appreciation for your service or earn credits toward classes.

How You Can Help

FREE GEEK Michiana needs computer systems to refurbish and distribute.

Please drop off your donated equipment at the:

Remember there is a $15 recycling fee for all monitors, no exceptions.

FREE GEEK Michiana accepts whatever computer equipment you bring us. However, if your computer equipment is older than a Pentium or Mac PowerPC, or, if it is broken, we appreciate a cash donation to cover processing.

Truthfully we always appreciate a cash donation!
