BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Initial Board

The first annual meeting of the Board of Directors was held in October, 2003. Our bylaws require at least one annual meeting before the end of October of each year.

Our core volunteers comprised the first board. Their job was to oversee the development of FREE GEEK Michiana until they replaced themselves with elected board members.

The board of directors encourages volunteers to attend the annual board meeting, to make proposals and to vote on proposals. The bylaws of Free Geek Michiana don't grant these rights to volunteers. However, the board of directors traditionally seeks volunteer participation in board meetings.

How You Can Help

FREE GEEK Michiana needs computer systems to refurbish and distribute.

Please drop off your donated equipment at the:

Remember there is a $15 recycling fee for all monitors, no exceptions.

FREE GEEK Michiana accepts whatever computer equipment you bring us. However, if your computer equipment is older than a Pentium or Mac PowerPC, or, if it is broken, we appreciate a cash donation to cover processing.

Truthfully we always appreciate a cash donation!
